I am a 52 year old woman who has been having shoulder problems for about 1 year. Pain, stiffness, then it seemed all at once I couldn't raise my left arm. I don't recall any injury; and have been seeking treatment since October 2006. I have had a manipulation under general anesthesia, but still am unable to bring my arm around to my back, or to the opposite front pocket.
Now, November 2007, I have been diagnosed with breast cancer--infiltrating ductal carcinoma, grade II, and ductal carcinoma in situ, noncomedo type, nuclear grade II with associated calcifications. The largest focus of carcinoma measures 1.2 cm.
This is my journey.
HI Kath! Hope all went well for you today!! P.M.A. is being sent to you every day!! I love the look of the scarf!! Reminds me of our younger days!! I have just caught up on your goings on and I must say...you are a MOST AMAZING woman!! God bless you and Dan! Know that you are ALWAYS in my thoughts and prayers! Much love to you both! Love Sue
Hi, Kathy! Afraid I've been lax on reading your blog. Just got caught up, and was surprised you had another treatment, as I had lost track. (The IRS has been occupying me! Not really--just trying to get my taxes done before I feel pressured.)
I hope you did as well with this last treatment as you did with the other two. I never cease to be amazed at how you carry on with work, and especially in still going over to put your mother to bed every night. No one ever had a more devoted daughter! I'm sure all of our prayers are helping, and we will keep them coming. "Praise God from whom all blessings flow...." If you know that song based on the 150th psalm, know that I am singing the rest of it to you.
