Sure was a beautiful day today!! Sunshine, blue skies, 20+ degrees.
I shoveled the couple inches of large flaked, fluffy snow. I wanted to see what the water was doing on the driveway. There are still drips coming out of the top corner of the soffit, and still water coming out at the sill running down the foundation. Not much, but enough to have a puddle trickling into the driveway. Maybe half of the drywall is drying, and the very wet areas are still wet. The top of the door jamb has stopped dripping--thank you God--and I can open and close it a lot easier, but can't pull it closed yet. Still have to push and push hard, and bump it a couple times to get it into the door frame. I still need to leave the house by the front door...
Frank, his friend Joe, and son Tavin, and I went up to Fred's and picked up the snow blower. Yay!! Frank helped Fred get past a "stuck" spot on his computers, so he's back on line again.
From there we stopped at the Medilodge and visited Aunt Lois for a few minutes. She's doing pretty good and hoping to be going back home sometime this week.
After dinner at Bob Evans, the guys got the snow blower out of the van and into the garage. Yay!!
Now we won't have very much more snow. (although there is a winter weather advisory until Tuesday morning...)
Tomorrow is a work day.
Thank you for reading. Hugs.
