Sunday 03.31.2013 Easter Day

What a great day today!!

I got up early to put a quiche and cinnamon coffee cake in the oven, and Frank and Danielle arrived just before the timer went off. We enjoyed the food and the company and thanked the Lord for this life.

I had a quiet rest of the day.  The drizzly rain stopped, the wind picked up, and it was blue skies most of the afternoon.  I went outside for a couple hours, sitting in an area sheltered from the wind, but in the warm sun. The birds are noisy, flying around in pairs, and I watched the little birds still clearing out their nesting hole. So cool.

Supper, a couple of phone calls, and a quiet evening.

Tomorrow is a workday.
