Not too much sleep last night, what with the temperature fluctuations and excessive audibles from the other side of the bed...
I got up when the radio came on and got myself ready for work. Daniel, however, surprised me by laying back down after getting up and turning off his alarm when it sounded. He said he was just "waking up". He did get up in a few minutes, though, and during breakfast he said he was tired, this being the sixth day in a row for him. (I suggested actually leaving at the end of his shift....)
I had a safe drive down in the dark, thank you God. I'm surprised at just how dark it is right now. I parked and walked over to the hospital.
We had a nice day with nice patients and good staff. Eventually the night shift came in, and we were able to leave.
I stopped at the Honda dealer in Jackson look at the Insight. Honestly?? I wasn't impressed. But the lower cost (compared to the Prius) puts it on the list. We'll have to drive them to really compare.
Back home safely, thank You again, I thought Daniel had gone to Flint after work. I was surprised to see him sleeping on the bed. I changed my clothes and got turned around for tomorrow, then fixed a snack, as I hadn't had supper yet.
As I was eating, he got up. He said he just didn't feel good, and people, both customers and employees, are sick at the casino, and he didn't want to push it with himself. I think his voice sounds a bit, maybe, reverberated? like his sinuses are trying to act up. And one of my co-workers had brought lozenges for a sore throat and her nose had started to run later in the afternoon. Great.
The Message is.... WASH YOUR HANDS. And if you're sick, STAY HOME. Geesh.
I wrote here and I'm going to bed before too much longer. Tomorrow is a workday.
Thank you for reading. Wash your hands. Hugs.
