Thursday 05.19.2011 At The Lake

A much better day today.

The rain stopped early morning, and the temps got into the low 60's, but the wind was cool enough that it was uncomfortable after a while to sit outdoors.

Diane and I went out for a walk, which was most enjoyable.

We've cooked and cleaned today, as well as set up the awning and put the furniture out. We have sat out at intervals, going inside and warming up, then going back out. This evening, we're sitting outside, with blankets over our legs. The bats came out to eat the newly hatched mosquitoes, then the wind calmed down and it's really quiet, other than the insect and duck noises. Very beautiful here.
