Spent the first part of the day renewing my BLS (basic life support). Lunch, then the afternoon we learned how to teach the class. American Heart Association has a great program in place, and seems like it will be easy to follow. Of course, we have to do an hour (minimum) online course extra, and print the certificate, before we "observe" a class being taught, then someone "observes" us as we teach a class. Then if we do it well, we'll be able to teach by ourselves, or with another instructor, depending on the number of students.
Ok by me, seems do-able, and BLS certification is a high-demand requirement of many jobs. There were three participants there today that were unable to get into a class near to them; one from Indiana (who drove 4 hours), and two from Ohio (who were 3 hours away)! Makes you wonder why there are so few Instructor classes....
After coming home, I shoveled the light powdery snow before going back out to Meijer. The air was so cold, and sunny, and the wind rustled the leftover dry leaves in the trees, and the birds were making little noises, and it reminded me of winter at The Lake. *sigh*
Sure is cold, though...
Tomorrow is a meeting in the afternoon, if I'm not needed for my "mandatory" hours. *sigh*, again.
Stay warm.
Thank you for reading. Hugs.
