Diane and I both slept well; neither one of us woke before 8:30.
The day was shades of gray, with the snow on the lake reflecting the gray-white. Different than a gray summer day. The thermometer shows 28 degrees, but the 15 mph winds were a little bitey.
We didn't do much the first half of the day, just resting and enjoying each other's company. We did go out for a walk on the ice, though. Way cool, and very different that the previous times I had been out. The snow mostly covers the ice now, with some small areas blown off. I took pictures, but haven't seen them yet...
When we got back in, we were looking out in the yard, and here comes the opossum, going from the shed over to the neighbor's garage. Looks like it might be a medium to large one. And then a little while later, we saw it coming back over to the shed. Wow! All the times I've looked out there, and I finally saw it.
We had a good supper and a quiet evening.
Tomorrow we might try to ski somewhere.
Thank you for reading. Hugs.
