Oh, My, what a Glorious Day!!

As I was walking around the house doing chores and such, I enjoyed the busy birds in the birdbath.  So much splashing going on that I needed to refill it!!

The robins are taking their nesting material to the shrub next to my back door again.  Last year, they somehow lost their eggs (in the afternoon--I saw them in the morning, and when I was showing Frank the nest, it was empty, with no sign of shells anywhere....). They rebuilt in a second location, brooded the eggs, and those disappeared, too.  Earlier this spring, I finally found about 3 large nests in the lilac hedge between the driveways, I'm guessing from the robins, cardinals, and bluejays that I saw going back and forth.

Tonight the peepers are noisy as can be.

I got a lot of my chores done, and went out for a "power walk".  I even ran a little.  *smile*   All the parts felt good, and even my ankle is it's normal, slightly uncomfortable self.  Yippee!!

I successfully electronically transferred data to my new-to-me phone. The 5 year old Droid X is timing out--meaning that there were apps that I used that were no longer being supported on that device. It was freezing up at intervals, and sometimes slow to load.  So, when I researched and decided upon a Samsung Galaxy S4, I went to the Verizon store to see about getting one.

Well, that was an hour of a salesperson trying to sell me a different device. And she could order the S4 for  $550 DOLLARS!!!  WHAT!!!  Um, No.   I watched the prices on eBay for a week or so, found the average price is $200, and bought one for $175+5.95 shipping.  Uh Huh. With a decent case and a screen protector, and both the sim card and sd card.  It was in my mailbox 3 days later.

I've played with it a little for the few days that I've had it, and read online about it, and was able to activate it today.  By myself.

I have to acknowledge that when the service changed over to the new phone, and the Droid lost it's connection, I felt a little, sad.

Tomorrow is a workday.

Hope everyone enjoyed the fabulous sunshine these last few days.

Thank you for reading. Hugs.
