Another great day!

Worked yesterday, was very tired last night.

A quiet day today.

Iced my hip a few times. It's really sore, most likely from the work that was done on Saturday by the therapist.

Had a nap; surprised that I woke up about an hour later this afternoon.

Found an area in the kitchen that was letting in a bunch of cold air. The range hood is original, maybe early 40's? and might have been vented outside somehow. Now, it blows through the filter system and back into the house. But there was so much air coming in, that with the temps in the teens, the thermometer in there showed 64 degrees. The thermostat is at 72.

Um, no.  Not ok.

I used some heavy foil and packing tape and covered the openings.

Wa la!!  No more cold air coming in.

And the temperature is up to 66 degrees. Those granite countertops take a long time to warm up.
